September 9th, 2017 Rev. Kim Kerley, President of Teen Round-Up ministries and Director / Owner of Camp Wamatochick in Prescott, AZ took his last breath on this earth and started his new life in Heaven with his Savior, Jesus Christ. Kim spent his last 25 years making kids happy at camp and telling people about the love of Jesus. Kim had a dream, wrote his dream down and then put actions toward his dream. In 2013 he called Camp Wamatochick his gift from God and never held his testimony back from telling everyone who would listen. For the past 4 years he gave tours of the camp and filled peoples ears about the blessing of living for Jesus. He often asked me to keep Camp Wamatochick alive if something ever happened to him, not knowing that his life would end suddenly and unexpectedly. I didn't think I was capable of working without my Kim Kerley, but God has sent many volunteers and a sister and brother in law to work side by side and fill the big shoes that Kim Kerley wore. He was a mighty man of God and a Jack of all trades!
My son, Calvin and I are filling in and feeling the load at the same time. I plan to stay here and do the work of our Lord until I meet my man in Heaven. President, Roxanne Kerley and Vice President, Calvin Kerley |
Pancake SpecialistMany jobs Camp Director Kim Kerley took on during his lifetime of camps. He took on plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and all other maintenance issues during camp. However, the most fun he had was in the kitchen making the perfect pancakes for campers and offering them plenty of syrup to soak up the tasty and flakey cakes. Kim served pancakes with a smile for 25 years.

The greatest of all LOVEKim lived his life by the Bible Scripture...Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength and love your neighbor as yourself. Kims life will preach on, he had an impact on every person who came onto the camp grounds at Camp Wamatochick.
